Trade Agreements and International Governance: Controversies around IP enforcement provisions have become a routine part of trade negotiations, from the TPP, to the TTIP, the Canada-EU agreement, the India-EU agreement, and so on.  This reliance on trade agreements reflects ongoing shifts in the balance of power across a range of national and international governance bodies. This session is devoted to exploring the relationships between policymaking across the range of institutions and venues that have claimed competency in this area, from trade agreements to WIPO, the WTO, and regional organisations.
