R&D and Innovation: An outline of what can be done to improve the current system of R&D to ensure that it promotes both effective innovation that fills existing gaps in health R&D, and builds in access norms early in the R&D process to ensure widespread access to medicine. This will be an opportunity to discuss the ongoing developments at a WHO level, shape regional policy activities, and shape a broader global campaign that could shift the entire IP regime.
