Social Movements in the Wake of SOPA/ACTA: What happened to the activist movements that drove the anti-SOPA fight, the anti-ACTA fights, the Marco Civil fight, and other recent IP policy battles?  Are there common denominators or catalysts (anti-enforcement, transparency, etc.) for these activist moments?  What is their future in relation to the NSA scandal or other Internet rights debates?  This session will explore the social movement and organizational legacies of recent IP policy fights in Mexico, Brazil, the EU, the US, and other countries.
