Access to Medicines Track: Patent Law Reform

Patent Law Reform: This workshop brings together civil society groups working on patent law reform in their respective countries, with experts and academics to share lessons learned, and help identify areas of cross-working and collaboration, as well as campaign and media-based activities to support successful policy reform. Led by civil society and government representatives from South Africa, Brazil, China and Uganda, this workshop will highlight processes currently ongoing in various countries. This will also be a learning opportunity for countries which have yet to undergo reform processes or implement TRIPS flexibilities into national law or practice. Presentation slides available below.
